Tim Charity, aka T. O’Neil Charity, writes African American fiction. He has written twenty-one (21) books and five screenplays. His latest book, Reckoning Day, was released in June 2026.

His debut novel, Family Honor: The Seed (2014), is the first installment in the Family Honor series. He followed the Family Honor series with Hazelton in April 2020, The Absalom Covenant in September 2020, and Sanctioned in December 2020. In 2021, he introduced The Ebony Don series following the rise of Angelo De Luca, son of Salvatore De Luca, to Mafia dominance. The Ebony Don: The Beginning was released in March 2021, The Ebony Don: The Anointing was released in June 2021, and The Ebony Don: The Scepter was released in December 2021. In 2022, he presented Preacher Man in April, Mississippi Sam in July, and Conspiracy of Terror in November. In 2023, The Abasi Bloodline Book 1: The Quest For Freedom was released in April 2023, and The Abasi Bloodline Book 2: The Legacy was released in July 2023. A Gangsta’s Repentance was released in December 2023. He started the new year with The Charleston Affair, released in February 2024, followed by Ellington’s Betrayal in May 2024, and closed out the year with Family Honor-5: Black Lazarus in October 2024. To start off 2026, he introduced Channel 99 in April.

Tim earned his BA and MBA in Business Administration from Argosy University and his MFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. He is a motivational speaker, earning his ATM in Toastmasters, a US Navy veteran, and resides in Los Angeles, CA.
